Hello and happy Friday!!!

It's the start of a new month and that means a new Club Kit from A Day For Daisies!!  It's a celebration of mothers and love! 

I chose to color the gorgeous Mother Mermaid Kiss.

Wild Purple mixed media card

Hello and happy Friday, everyone!

I'm here today with another great image from A Day For Daisies.  This one is called Wild Purple.

I colored the flowers with my Copic markers using a morning glory photo as my guide, then cut it out.  I had a piece of floral paper that I wanted to use but it was a little bold, so I brushed some watered down gesso onto it.  I also used some Studio 490 translucent embossing paste and my Well Rounded stencil to add a little texture and background interest.  I added some Papertrey Ink ribbon and a button tied up with some hand quilting thread to complete the card.
