Happy Wednesday!  It's time for another fun Color Throwdown challenge!  This week our colors are Gray, Lime, Purple, and Fuschia.  What fun!

I used the Pretty Pink Posh Hummingbird Thanks stamp set along with one of the sentiments from the Simon Says Stamp You Matter stamp set to make a birthday card for my sister.

You can't really tell that the sentiment is heat embossed in that photo so here is another photo from an angle.

Fun!  I love keeping the boldest colors contained in a small space!

Hummingbird Thanks - Color Throwdown #484

Hey, y’all!  We’ve come upon another Wednesday, so that means a brand new Color Throwdown challenge! 

This week our hostess, Amy Rohl, has a bold & bright color combo for us – Eggplant, Green, and White.

It’s almost time here in the South for the hummingbirds to show up.  They almost always show up on April 1st and stick around our area until September 1st, sometimes a little later.  I’m anxious for them to come back.  I love the little whirring sound they make when they’re flitting about, and they’re so much fun to watch.

So when I saw the cute Hummingbird Thanks stamp set from Pretty Pink Posh, I just had to have it!  And here’s what I came up with using this week’s colors -

This little guy was watercolored with a Zig Clean Color marker (No. 080 Violet) and he’s flitting about a WPlus9 Pretty Peonies flower.  The background was smooshed using Distress inks.
