Hey, everybody! Are you ready for a brand new Color Throwdown challenge? I am!! This week our colors are Green, Blue, Lavender, and Silver or Gold.

I always think of these colors as being the colors of water, so.....

I used the Memory Box Waves 3D folder on wet watercolor paper to get a deep impression. When it dried, I rewet it and painted the waves randomly with the 3 colors. Then I painted on a bit of Distress Mica Stain in Brushed Pewter. I cut the sentiment using a Sizzix-Tim Holtz Bold Text #1 die with silver paper and fun foam and layered them for dimension.

Deep Sea Octopus - Color Throwdown #649

Happy Wednesday, y'all! This week at the Color Throwdown we have a bright and cheerful color combo: Purple, Blue, and Green.

Great combo, huh?

Well, I needed a card for Grandson #2's high school graduation, and since he shares my love of the sea my choice of themes was very easy! Here's his card:

I LOVE this Deep Sea Octopus die from Memory Box (and he did too!). There is some silver paint spritzed onto the water. The octopus and fish were all water colored before they were die cut and attached to the sea water scene.
