Hello, everyone!
It’s time for our latest Color Throwdown and this week Lynn has a beautiful color palette for us to play with. Just in time for Valentine’s Day!
~
I wasn’t sure about the combination at first until I started playing with my Kuretake Zig Clean Color pens in those colors. Then I fell in love!

To make my card I die cut the hearts from the patterned paper first. Then I layered it over some watercolor paper and lightly penciled in the heart shapes. I removed the patterned paper and used my Clean Color pens to paint the hearts similar to the ones in the inspiration photo. When that was dry, I dripped some Heidi Swapp gold Color Shine onto the hearts, and also flicked some of the other colors over them as well.

I die cut the LOVE from some gold shiny cardstock and some fun foam and layered them together on the card front. I added some twine and that was it!
I’m entering this card in the Just Us Girls challenge #329: Valentine.

So I really hope you’ll play along with us this week at the Color Throwdown! I can’t wait to see what you create!
Please be sure to visit with the rest of the CTD girls here:
