Hey, folks! This week our Color Throwdown combo consists of Pink, Coral, Dark Purple, and Green.

I used all dies this week to make a birthday card for a sweet friend: Altenew Fantasy Floral die, Impression Obsession Birdcage die, and Spellbinders Simply Perfect Mix and Match sentiment dies.  And I love how they all came together!

I used an old Cuttlebug embossing folder called Leafy Branch, which I still love, for the background.

~

~

Happy Birthday Molly! - Color Throwdown #640

Happy Wednesday, y'all!

This week at the Color Throwdown we have a very pretty Spring color combo: Pink, Coral, and Green.

This week I needed a special birthday card for my granddaughter Molly's birthday.  So I decided to try out a technique revisited by Jennifer McGuire recently - Easel cards!  I also used her suggestion to personalize it.

Here is Molly's card:

I colored everything with my Copic markers and airbrushed the background.  The "Happy" and "molly" are coated with Glossy Accents for some sparkle and shine!  I'm very happy with how it turned out!  And I love that she can display it on her desk or dresser!

Hello, y'all!  Today is the first day of a brand new Color Throwdown challenge!  This week our generic colors are Violet, Mint and Cream.

I purchased this Impression Obsession Shell Wreath (designed by the mega talented Dina Kowal) a while back with the intent of using it for my 2020 Christmas cards.  When I saw this week's color combo, I thought....why not??!  So here is what I came up with:

Sea Horse - Color Throwdown #602

Happy Wednesday!  It's time for another new Color Throwdown challenge!  This week our generic colors are Blue, Green, Peach, and Gold.  This is such an elegant combo, and the inspiration photo is gorgeous!

I went with the ocean theme - imagine that! And I used the new-to-me Sea Horse stamp from mega-talented designer Dina Kowal and Impression Obsession.  I love it!

~

~

I stamped the image on watercolor paper and used my Stampin' Up inks to watercolor it.  The colors for this week were just perfect!  To include the gold color I used Rose Gold Liquid Pearls on the seahorse and a bit of gold twine .
