Summer Refreshment - Color Throwdown #303

Hello, friends!  I'm hosting the Color Throwdown challenge this week and I chose an inspiration photo of some sweet, cool summer refreshment!

Those popsicles sure look good, don't they?

Well, my card today using the colors also features summer refreshments, but they are more of the adult kind…sweet summer libations!

I stamped each individual part of the Clear & Simple By the Glass stamp set (glasses, ice cubes, straw, bubbles, lime and cherry) with Versamark ink and then embossed them with white detail embossing powder onto watercolor paper.  Then I used my water brush and the SU ink colors to paint my scene.

Can you see the hint of an ocean horizon?  Of course, I take my drinks by the water!!

I also highlighted each of the glasses with my Wink of Stella clear glitter brush.

Well, I didn't use apples on my card but I did use fruit to create an inviting libation for any type of celebration!
