What a fabulous bouquet this is! I wanted to water color it in colors that were not too Christmas typical.  And I wanted to use the MOST important of the sentiments!  

~

~

I added some water around the edges of the colored image to allow some of the color to bleed out into the background.  Love that effect!

All the images in this set invoke feelings of serenity and beauty.  A glorious winter time set!  I wanted to play around with shadows and night time color, so I went with a sunset (or sunrise or full moon) scenario.  All done in Copics.

Such sweet images!!  I am totally in love with the little Santa!  I had to color him up and I really wanted to use the "let Heaven and Nature sing" sentiment.  So since I was using the digital stamp set, I was able to shrink down the little bird to perch on top of the tree to be the singer!

For Day 2 we are revealing the fun Enchanted Branches: Woodland!

There are so many ornament choices to add to this enchanted branch.  Or you can use each of the items to create a beautiful woodland wonderland! I used some of them as ornaments.

Everything is water colored, and then I enhanced most of the elements with an overlay of pearlescent paint for a glimmery effect.

~

There are quite a few of these awesome fellas with SO many wonderful sayings to use with them.  These are not just for Christmas, y'all.  Use them all throughout the winter months.

Here's my card using the sly little silver fox:

He and the snowy hill  with pines background were watercolored and I used 2 of the sentiments.  All I added was a little red yard for an accent to complete the card.

This image is simply beautiful!  I had a great time coloring it with my Copic markers.

I added some shiplap boards behind the image for a homey feel and some pearl stickers for a touch of elegance.

Such a fun set!  I decided to kick up the "glow" part of the sentiment with some alcohol inks and gold sparkle!

Just a note:  I can allow my star to hang over the edge of the card because I always use size A6 envelopes when mailing my handmade cards.  They measure 4.75" x 6.5".

What a fun set this is!  I love the garden theme and you should have heard me squeal when I saw the orange trellis Christmas tree!!  I grew up in Florida so this image really warms my heart!!

I didn't water color this card.  I took a quicker route and used my Copic markers.  I think the checkerboard background paper adds a touch of rustic charm.

I've been anxiously awaiting a set like this from the fabulous Marcella Hawley!!  This is just incredible!!

I decided to create a slimline card for today.  I water colored the background first after composing the images into a Word document and printing onto water color paper.  When that dried, I water colored the rest.

~

~

These images are designed to be used alone as I did, or as an ornament hanging from the branch.  How versatile is that?!

Day 1's stamp set is called Mossy Pots with Paperwhites.

I chose the smaller image in the set - the Paperwhite blossom with the Christmas ornaments and holly - to color up today and I went with some bright and fun colors.  This is the only image in the set that is truly a Christmas image.  You can use the others all year long!

~

~

The image and sentiment were printed on water color paper and I used Distress inks to paint it.  I attached 2 strips of washi tape to add to the fun and color!  And several glittery enamel dots were added for extra sparkle!
