Hey Boo - Color Throwdown #716

Happy Halloween!  Almost!  I'm celebrating today with the cards I created for my grandkids for this week's Color Throwdown challenge.  Our color combo is Purple, Blush, and Sage Green.  Perfect colors for Halloween!

So I recently purchased the Hey Boo die set from Ellen Hutson LLC specifically for this year's cards.  And of course the all around perfect bear from the All Inside stamp set had to be the star!  Well, at least his ghost did!

There was a lot of detailed work involved in creating these cards, but it sure was fun!  The bear was stamped on vellum, then that was flipped to the back side so that the outline was more faded (ghost-like).  The heart he's holding actually hides the foam mounting tape that pops him up so he kind of looks like he's floating in the air.  The sentiment was pieced using each of the challenge colors and it was popped up too.

Each one of the 4 cards a a bit different.

Totally Adorable!! Your grands are a lucky bunch of card recipients. Love your grassy knolls and the swirly skies - you have such an eye for classy style. How fun that you did a mishmash of the colors on the “hey boo”. Your bear does look ghostly, too. Happy Halloween!
