Gladys - Color Throwdown #683

Happy Hump Day and happy new Color Throwdown challenge day!  I'm your hostess this week and I've chosen these colors for us to play with: Gray, Pink, and Lime Green.

I love that beautiful bird!!  And his colors!

A couple of weeks ago a crafty friend and I traveled to a SSAT show in Columbia, SC, and had a great time shopping!  One of the purchases I knew I would make before I even left my house was the new Tim Holtz Sizzix Gladys, Colorize dies.  I went straight to it!  And these colors just "happen" to be right to show off my new girl.

She's a beauty, for sure!  I mounted her over a water colored panel and used the Tim Holtz Crazy Talk stamp set for my sentiment.

{SWOON} It’s Gladys!!! Love your card! That bird in the inspiration photo is pretty, too. Well chosen colors, Beachy. Sounds like you shopped super-smart at the stamp show. I give you HUGE kudos for the patience needed with the colorize dies. I like the look, but don’t see myself with them, which seems strange coming from the gal who owns about a dozen 4” x 4” quilt dies.
