So Sorry For Your Loss - Color Throwdown #674

Happy New Year to you all!  I sure hope this one is better than the last two!!  LOL!

For our first Color Throwdown of the year we have a very festive and/or elegant color combo: Black, White, and Gold or Silver.

I happened to need a couple of sympathy cards this week.  I know....so sad to have to think about losing someone over the holidays.  But this combo worked well, I thought.

I thought the black represented sorrow, the white - hope, and the gold - promise.

I used the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember collaboration set with Honey Bee Stamps called On My Mind.  It's really a shame this sets are only available for a very limited time.

What a striking card! Wonderful use of the colors and it is a shame when there are great stamp sets you can no longer acquire. You are a limited edition. Stamps should not be. Here’s hoping the year moves in a more positive direction as we get under way and we both have more happy cards than loss cards to send. Only 75 days until spring 🌷
