Too Much Happy - Color Throwdown #677

Hey there!  It's Wednesday again, the last one of the month, and time for a new Color Throwdown challenge!  Are you ready?  This week our colors are Pink, Purple, and Green.  What a fun combo!

I needed another birthday card and I thought this palette would work great.  You know, one of these days I'm going to try to build a stash of cards so I'll have them available BEFORE I need them!  We'll see how that works out!

It was really fun to make, and I like keeping the colors in completely separate elements sometime.  It seems to deliver a little more punch!  What do you think?

Sock Monkey Birthday - Color Throwdown #676

Hi, all!  This week's Color Throwdown colors are Red, Cream, and Gold.

Elegant, isn't it?  Well, that's probably why I made a card with a monkey! 😁

Here is the masculine card I came up with.

This Sock Monkey stamp and die set is from Ellen Hutson LLC but it's retired now.  I still love to use it for children and for some big kids too!

So Sorry For Your Loss - Color Throwdown #674

Happy New Year to you all!  I sure hope this one is better than the last two!!  LOL!

For our first Color Throwdown of the year we have a very festive and/or elegant color combo: Black, White, and Gold or Silver.

I happened to need a couple of sympathy cards this week.  I know....so sad to have to think about losing someone over the holidays.  But this combo worked well, I thought.

~

~

I thought the black represented sorrow, the white - hope, and the gold - promise.

I used the Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember collaboration set with Honey Bee Stamps called On My Mind.  It's really a shame this sets are only available for a very limited time.
