Hello, and happy Wednesday, y'all!
This week at the Color Throwdown our generic colors are perfect for heralding in Spring and Easter: Pink, Purple, Yellow, and Aqua.

Those are the cutest little bunny cakes! I bet they are delicious too!
However, I needed a sympathy card and a floral image is always a good idea for that.

Of course I chose a Power Poppy digital image, Bountiful Bouquet, for my card. I water colored the image, then masked it and stamped an image from the Papertrey Ink retired Ombre Builder set as the background. I added clear water with my brush to make it fade and blend. The sentiment stamp and die cut is also from Papertrey Ink, the Inspired: Prayer set.

Truly lovely. I would have been afraid of those beautiful, bold pink posies on a sympathy card, but they are perfect with your faded aqua background. I especially like the leaves in iced spruce. I MUST use my distress inks to watercolor. Every time I see what you have created, I am in awe. Big hugs!
