Hello, y'all! Today is the first day of a brand new Color Throwdown challenge! This week our generic colors are Violet, Mint and Cream.
~
I purchased this Impression Obsession Shell Wreath (designed by the mega talented Dina Kowal) a while back with the intent of using it for my 2020 Christmas cards. When I saw this week's color combo, I thought....why not??! So here is what I came up with:
~
I would love to hear what you think? Too beachy...wrong colors...or just right??
Now, it's your turn to use these colors to come up with a paper creation and enter it into the Color Throwdown challenge! Be sure to check out all the inspiration from the design team here:

Love, Love, Love the spattered background! Yes, I think you can make this work for Christmas cards, if you move your violet to more of a red violet ( could just be my monitor ). I use colored pencils and I’m thinking dahlia purple or mulberry or black cherry. However I am NOT an amazing colorist like you are, so take that with seven grains of salt. Your card is beautiful and has a delightful Beachy vibe.
