HB Wishes - Color Throwdown #590

Happy Wednesday!  It's time for a new Color Throwdown challenge, y'all!  Wanda is our hostess this week and her awesome color combo is Navy, Yellow, Kraft, and Green.

I needed another birthday card and decided to watercolor some poppies as the focal image on my card.  I used the Rubbernecker Layered Poppies stamp set and die.  I also used the Wishes Die cut, the Nested Rectangles dies, and the Happy Birthday stamp set.

Polka dots! How Fun! Like that “wishes” die in navy. You do such a good job with the colors. Your watercolored posies look like “monkey faces”, which is what my Grandma called her beloved pansies. The purplish blues with yellow were always a favorite in her garden. Thanks for the walk down memory lane this morning — no strolling up here; brisk walk to stay warm and go so you don’t freeze your fanny. C’mon Spring!
