How about another masculine birthday card today? I posted one here on Wednesday, and needed another one for an upcoming birthday next month.
~
I didn't want florals, but I wanted to watercolor something from nature, so I chose a small branch from the Power Poppy Woodland Carpet stamp set that could be used for a partial background/border for the card. I loosely water colored it and smooshed the blue everywhere else. Then I splattered 3 of the colors on the background.
The sentiment is from the Power Poppy Strong and Beautiful set. This was a really simple card to make, but I love that it turned out pretty without being feminine looking.
There are a few of the mega-talented designers for Power Poppy posting cards today. You can see a list at the Power Poppy blog.
Thanks so much for stopping in today! Have a great weekend!

Geez, I had to go look at the stamp set because I don't remember this little branch at all. I love it, and clever you to think to use it like this! Very pretty and soothing blue and green watercolor here.

Masculine cards are hard for me but I think you have the answer. I love how you picked out a simple branch from this stamp set and used it here with a light touch of watercolor.

Great water coloring and the soothing way it flows together, make for a pretty card. That stitching is so cool around the edges. I totally need to get that die.

Wonderful watercolored man card! Great colors and I especially like how you put it all together, then used the stitched die to make it complete. Also like the blue for the sentiment strip.
