Power Poppy Azaleas - and a big sale!

Hi, all!  I have a card to share using one of the Power Poppy stamp sets on sale starting today.  Just in case you didn't see the announcement yesterday, it's part of a huge sale starting at NOON today.

So here is my card using the Power Poppy Azalea stamp set:

So have you ever seen azaleas with those colors?  I had not until I visited a friend's house last weekend.  Around a large live oak tree are 5 azalea bushes; 4 white and 1 hot pink.  However over the years, the white flowers have evolved/hybrid into different patterns of white with pink striations and dots.  Some of the branches even have solid pink flowers among the white ones.  Just beautiful!

So of course, I had to try my hand at imitating nature!

Oh, my gosh, not only is this such a beautiful card, but it's so interesting about the azaleas! I think my next azaleas will be white so I can see if they do anything interesting like this, seeing as how I have many other azaleas in pinks and reds.
