Welcome to the first edition of Keeping Christmas – version 2019!
~
This month I want to show you some ornaments I made for some of my special peeps, using pre-cut wood rounds from Hobby Lobby.
~
I screwed 13/16” screw eye hooks into each round to start. Then I painted each front with white gesso. When that was dry, I stamped images and sentiments from several different stamp sets (listed in the supplies section below) using a black ink that was suitable for use with Copic markers. That’s what I used to color in each image. When everything was dry, I added Star Dust Stickles to some part of each of the ornaments.
I also later added a loop of red yarn to each of the eye hooks.
I can’t wait for you to see what each of our design team members have created for your inspiration.
Broni Holcombe - that's me!
~
If you start creating your Christmas cards, ornaments, and packaging now, there won’t be such a crunch at Christmas time! Have fun, and thanks so much for stopping by!

Cute! And Sparkly! Good job on the eye hooks and yarn. Are you buying that yummy stardust stickles in bulk?! It's looking a lot like Christmas outside here, so I probably better make sure I have gas for the "flake adjuster". Stay warm and well and crafty!
