~
This year, on the 25th of each month, several of the former The Challenge players are joining Kelly Lunceford at her blog for a Keeping Christmas blog hop. We hope to inspire you a little into getting a start on your 2018 Christmas cards.
I’m trying to keep my cards pretty simple (easy to make multiples of), as well as eye-catching.
This month I decided to use my WPlus9 Snowflake Backdrops stamp set. The largest stamp has a solid background so that when you stamp it, the snowflakes remain white (or the color of the cardstock). This makes it very simple to make multiple larger images with no coloring.
~
I used 3 different Distress inks (listed in the supplies section) smooshed directly onto the stamp, which was then misted and stamped onto the cardstock. Then all I had to do was let them dry, add some Star Dust stickles to one of the snowflakes, and assemble the card.
~
I hope you like it and I hope I’ve inspired you just a little to play around with some of your Christmas stamps!
Please take this opportunity to view all of the other inspiration created by the Keeping Christmas team by continuing along the blog hop:

Why was I worried, Beachy?! LOVE your s-n-o-wflakes! Great colors, sparkle and distressed edge. That "bunny tail" is a fun touch on your twine, too. Excellent creation! Happy rest of your weekend.

Hey! Nice, quick way to make a pretty watercolor snowflake background! Filing this away in my brain. Four backgrounds and each a little different. Very pretty card, Broni!
