Hello Dearest Friend - Color Throwdown #471

Happy Wednesday, peeps!  The latest Color Throwdown challenge is up and we’re just waiting for you to play along!

Here are the elegant colors that Amy Rysavy has chosen for us – Black, Grey, Gold, and White.

I wanted my card to be simple and elegant as well.  I chose to color the Altenew Sketchy Floral image.

~

~

I was going to use watercolor pencils but then decided to try out some acrylic paints on my cardstock.  I used a tiny (size 0) brush and some white and metallic gold paints – linked below in the supply list.  I also used No.091 Light Gray Zig Clean Color real brush for some shading.

Nailed It! Totally elegant and so very classy. Really like the painting -- you must have a delicate touch to make it look this fantastic. Once again you've given us an absolutely stunning creation. These are very elegant or urban colors. I like! Wondering how they'd work on a Christmas card... Very cool effect with the acrylics. The look of it is somehow perfect with this image. You aced it, Broni!
