Sketchy Floral - Color Throwdown #459

Hello there!  This week at the Color Throwdown we have what I consider to be an elegant color combo: Red, Black, and White, courtesy of our hostess, Vickie.

I love the bold contrast of these colors together! 

I just had to use my new Sketchy Floral image from Altenew.  It’s GORGEOUS!!

I used my Mission Gold watercolors to paint the flower and leaves and then created shadows with my Copic markers. The beautiful sentiment is from the Essentials by Ellen set Lovely, and is heat embossed.

Vibrant and dramatic, which is exactly what this color combo calls for. Great watercoloring -- is that a new brand of paint? -- and cool black striped edge. LOVE IT! Do not love being back in reality, but at least it's a short week.
