Happy Wednesday, everyone!
It’s time for a new Color Throwdown challenge! Wanda is our hostess and she’s chosen a beautiful combo of Sage Green, Turquoise, Brown and Gold.

I love the flowing pattern on the urn and decided to make a similar pattern on some watercolor paper. I used some Distress inks and Heidi Swapp gold Color Shine.

I didn’t want to cover it up entirely so I printed this awesome quote from the brand new Power Poppy Graceful Still Life digital stamp set on vellum. Of course I just had to add a flower to go along with the gardening quote. I don’t think I’ve used a paper flower on a card in years!
Now it’s your turn to play along with us! Check out the challenge details on the CTD blog and be sure to visit with my CTD sisters too!

Thanks so much for stopping by! The Power Poppy blog hop for the newest Instant Garden release will be coming up shortly! Please stay tuned!

Stunning!! Love the swirly colors and your wonky edge. Great verse on vellum and how fun that you went retro and added that flower. Best part is you gave me a new notion for combining distress inks as I tend to stay away from the darks like ground espresso, but I think he may make a foray into my next background. Thanks!
