Wish - Color Throwdown #419

Y’all know if it’s Wednesday, it’s time for a brand new Color Throwdown challenge!  Vickie is our hostess and she’s chosen a beautiful fresh color palette for us to play with – Orange, Green, and Red.

These colors really inspired me this week!  I had some new goodies from Simon Says Stamp and I decided I wanted to try something out with the new Abstract Triangles 6 x 6 cling stamp. 

~

~

I heat embossed the triangles using clear embossing powder and then I used Color Bursts to watercolor the triangles to form a loose pattern which mimics this week’s sketch #CTS198 from CASE this Sketch.

I really do love how these bright colors add life to the triangles!

This is cool! You did a great job with the sketch and the colors, then went way out there with your geometric idea. I'm still seeing apples and fleur de lis in a fall palette from what you started with and you went BOOM, BAM and gave us a bright, modern vision. This is why you are a stamping superstar and I am just a random gawker. Standing up here applauding your genius once again.
