Hey there! It’s my turn to host the Color Throwdown this week and I decided to give up summer and go with some warmer fall colors – navy blue, orange, kraft and white:
~
And then I had second thoughts and pulled out a water themed stamp set! Ha, ha! I used the Hero Arts Color Layering Goldfish set. It worked!!
~
I created the background by watercoloring with my Gansai Tambi water colors, then stamping the sea reeds and bottom after it had dried. I created the fish on PTI white cardstock with Distress inks and my Misti. It is popped up on foam mounting tape. The sentiment is stamped in Archival Coffee ink.
Now it’s your turn to play along with us! I can’t wait to see what you create! Link up at the CTD blog, but first take a look at what the amazing design team has created for your inspiration:

Works for me! I thought Detroit Tigers, so I'm still in summer mode, especially since it feels like fall is a good way off --- at least til Saturday. Great background, fun colors and pretty fish. Hope Matthew doesn't expose you to any water.
