~
Each week at The Challenge we have a different style of challenge for you to try!
Here is the monthly rotation:
Week 1-Sketch
Week 2-Colors
Week 3-Photo Inspiration
Week 4-Masculine Photo Inspiration
Week 5-Wild Card (a surprise!)
So this is week 2 and we have some beautiful colors to play with.
~
Well, I immediately thought of a sunset at the beach, of course, so I went with it.
~
The background panels are actually left over from when I made the Sprinkled With Fun card for the Essentials for Ellen late Summer release. I couldn’t let all that yummy color on my craft sheet go to waste!
I cut each panel in half and used them to make 2 of these cards just alike for 2 young men’s birthdays this month. I used the awesome Stay Salty stamp set and dies. Aren’t they cool?! The boys will get a kick out of the awesome sentiment for sure.
We hope you’ll join us for The Challenge this week!
And please take a moment to check out what the other designers have created for your inspiration!
Hahahaha! Love the sentiment! Beautiful colors, all sunset-y looking. Super cute stamps, too. Perfect simplicity there. You just have a way of making everything look amazing.

Totally laughed right out loud at the sentiment! Great card! LOVE the sky and sea. May have to use this as inspiration for a nephew or niece's birthday next year (if my memory holds out that long).
