HELLO!! And happy Wednesday to you!
Are you ready for the next Color Throwdown challenge? Our newbie and oh-so-talented design team member Amy Rohl is the hostess this week and she’s chosen a wonderful color combo for us!

Yes, I would like to dive head first into that cake! It looks so scrumptious!!
I needed a thank you card recently and I wanted it to be extra special, so I looked through my Pinterest boards and that led me to Kristina Werner’s blog. I love everything she does, of course, and so I decided to try her watercolor technique for this card. I love how it turned out! So did the recipient, I might add.
~
I stamped and white-embossed the bloom from the Simon Says Stamp Spring Flowers set and used Color Bursts (turquoise and orchid) to paint the background. Then I used fuschia, crimson and lime green to paint the flower and stem. Finally I white-embossed the sentiment from the Essentials by Ellen Fancy Thanks set and added some sequins.
Now it’s your turn to play with these great colors! Link up over at the CTD blog and be sure to check out all the fabulous inspiration from the DT:

Anything you do with watercolors is always fabulous, and especially with the white embossing and that sprinkling of sequins. I absolutely love this!
