Happy Hump Day!
It’s time for our latest Color Throwdown challenge and Barbara is our hostess this week! Here are the beautiful colors she chose for us – Hot Pink, Green, Black and White!
~
I pulled out my PTI Scene It: Celebration and Birthday Cheer stamp sets and dies to make a birthday card for my stash. I ALWAYS need more birthday cards!
~
I sponged some Evergreen Bough and Peacock Feathers Distress inks onto my watercolor paper, then spritzed it with some Cracked Pistachio Distress Spray Stain. I die cut it with my Stitched Rectangle dies and attached it to my card base.
I die cut the balloons 3 times and layered them after stamping the center balloon in Melon Mambo ink and coating it with Glossy Accents. The Birthday was cut twice and layered before adhering it to the card.
I used this week’s CAS(E) This Sketch #161:

And I’m playing along with the Friday Mashup #243 – make a birthday card:

Great Shiny Pink Balloon! So, I have some of these word dies and I realized that you layer yours, then adhere. What's your sticky stuff, please? If you told us before, I totally was blinded by sequins and didn't pay a lick of attention -- sorry!

You are so clever! Love the color spray and big, bold birthday greeting. The colors really POP! And look at the gloss on that balloon! Wow!
