Whoop! Whoop! It’s time for a new edition of the Color Throwdown challenge!! Tammy is our talented and fun hostess and here are the yummy, rich colors that she chose for us to play with:

At first I turned my nose up at the colors. How tacky of me, right? I’m not a big fan of non-bright colors these days, even though I LOVE the inspiration photo. I’ve been leaning more towards the bright end of the color spectrum. But I figured I could lighten up the tones and still feed my need for bright!! Besides, if I use images that make me happy, I can make the colors work, right? Right!!

Yep! This definitely makes me happy! I want to be on that island with that cutie-patootie penguin from the Simon Says Stamp set called Warm Christmas Wishes.
Everything was stamped in Memento Tuxedo Black ink and colored with my Copic markers. I did a little masking to get the palms behind the penguin. I just drew the water line with a pen.
Yay! This card qualifies for today's Simon Says Wednesday Challenge - Christmas.
The layout of the images are inspired by this week’s Sunday Stamps sketch SSC114:

I’m also entering this into the Paper Players challenge #PP271 – Create a CAS Christmas Card:
