Hello Butterfly - Color Throwdown #356

Hey, y’all.  It’s my turn to host the Color Throwdown challenge this week.

I fell in love with this inspiration photo the minute I saw it!  Then I panicked and thought the colors would be too hard to work with.  But after playing around with them and coming up with my card I decided that I really do love the color combo of Orange, Green and Black!

I created my background with stencils and Distress inks.  The butterfly from WPlus9 was stamped on vellum and I colored it with Copic markers on the reverse side of the vellum.  The Hand Lettered Hello die cut is also from WPlus9.

VERY COOL!! The stencil background (wow!) and butterfly are subtly beautiful. Love the bright "pop" of hello. Thread adds a nice touch, especially since I never would have thought to pair it up with twine. It's a jungle out there, but your bold color scheme shows that we can tame this Wednesday and move another day closer to the weekend.
