It’s the 15th of a new month so that means it’s time for another fantastic new digital image from Marcella Hawley at Power Poppy. Her floral images are always to-die-for and this one is no exception!

Beautiful, right? Marcie based this image on this photo:

...and on a recent trip she made to the Missouri Botanical Garden. It's a zig-zag of branches from a flowering crabapple tree, which are blooming RIGHT NOW in St. Louis! Marcie said “I've drawn my image with the flowers, leaves, and fruit all in the same image - now, in real life that only happens if the little fruits are leftover from last season, but I think it looks adorable to see all three of them together! The fruit and flowers and leaves come in a range of wonderful shades and colors!”
So I decided to fill the card front with the image and also print the beautiful sentiment on the same layer. LOVE how it turned out!
