Hey there and happy Friday to you all! Whoop! Whoop! So excited for the weekend!
Today I have another beautiful image from the latest A Day For Daisies release. She’s called Mother Moon and she is so sweet with her precious little one resting on the crescent moon over the night sky.
~
We’re starting a new challenge this week too – Make it Art-Journal~y style!
I made my night sky background using the new Color Bursts from Ken Oliver! Oh my! I can’t wait to try more techniques with this awesome product! And I have to blame this new obsession on my friend Bad Sherry! (Thanks, Sherry!)
After the background dried, I added some dots in translucent embossing paste and then some stars in gold embossing paste.
~
I printed the beautiful Mother Moon on watercolor paper in a light blue color so that the lines don’t stand out so much when she’s painted. I cut her out and popped her up on foam tape.
This was all mounted on some gold glitter cardstock and then onto a piece of chipboard.
So now we can’t wait to see what you come up with! Make it Art-Journal~y style!
Check out what the rest of the design team has created for your inspiration:

Still absolutely gorgeous! And maybe even more so, since I'm sitting in the sun to admire it today. Yesterday morning when I came by to gawk, it was dark outside, but what a fabulous start to my Friday. Looking forward to what you share next month!
