Welcome to the final Color Throwdown challenge of 2014! Can you believe the year is almost over?
Lori is our hostess this week and her color palette is very soft and pretty….great for any occasion!

I’m still making Christmas cards! Yes, I am. I will not get my usual 60 cards made this year. I’ve finally resigned myself to the fact that this year – the first in 8 years – I will be sending both handmade and store bought cards. Sigh. I know.
Anyway, here’s my latest. I actually made 2 of these shaker cards. They will be going to the 2 youngest granddaughters. They love pink and they love sparkle. This should work just fine!

I’ve used Simon Says Stamp Stitched Circle dies, Lil’ Inker Designs Stitched Rectangle dies, Hero Arts Christmas Crystals stamp set, and Essentials by Ellen Brushstroke Christmas stamp set.
The jewel was heat embossed with white detail embossing powder onto Distress watercolor paper and then watercolored using the Distress inks listed at the end of the post.
I hope you’ll take some time and join us in our last 2014 challenge. We always love to see your beautiful creations!
Be sure to check out what the rest of my DT buddies have created for your viewing pleasure.
And a HUGE thanks to my friend Sue Lelli for joining us as December’s Guest Designer! Sue, you ROCK!!
Thanks so much for stopping in today and for all the times you’ve visited with me during this year. I love knowing that I’m one of your stops in blogland and I truly appreciate your time and wonderful comments!
