Happy: Framed - Color Throwdown #298

Hey, everybody!  It's time for our latest Color Throwdown challenge!  Monika is our hostess this week and has chosen a beautiful inspiration photo and color palette for us.

I just got some MORE new goodies from Papertrey Ink.  (I really need to block that site on my PC!)  So I just had to play!

I used the Phrase Play #5 along with the matching die on my card today.

I used the die to cut both the Wisteria Wonder and the Pink Pirouette cardstock.  Then I snipped the "happy" from the pink cs and glued it on top of the Wisteria die cut.  It's popped up on foam mounting tape on the card front.  I tied on a piece of Blossom twine  and sprinkled lots of shimmery sequins on the card front as well.

Pretty card! I won't be enjoying any waves anytime soon and my boots are gathering dust, but your creations lately are still cool. I did some shopping and bought something all because of you and no, it wasn't the eggshell seam binding (YET!?!). Life is really busy now, but maybe I'll have something made with it in about 2 or 3 weeks that I can send you a picture of (so, yes, you have time to change your email :). Off to take care of life's necessities and stamping isn't on that list {sigh}.

Broni, this is so cute! LOVE the simple layout, and the scattering of sequins is perfect! (I NEVER get that to look right... always too many and in the wrong places.)
