Hello and happy Friday, everyone!
I'm here today with another great image from A Day For Daisies. This one is called Wild Purple.
~
I colored the flowers with my Copic markers using a morning glory photo as my guide, then cut it out. I had a piece of floral paper that I wanted to use but it was a little bold, so I brushed some watered down gesso onto it. I also used some Studio 490 translucent embossing paste and my Well Rounded stencil to add a little texture and background interest. I added some Papertrey Ink ribbon and a button tied up with some hand quilting thread to complete the card.
The layout is inspired by this week's Seize the Sketch #15:

As always you have created an amazing card Broni. I love how you muted down the bold paper in the background with the gesso.

Morning Glories!! Lovely job coloring and accessorizing them. They are one of my very favorite flowers (in heavenly blue :). Like the background piece texture and the thread bow. You get an A for sketch use, as always. Happy Weekend!
