Watercolored Love Clown

Happy, happy Friday!  I'm so relieved it's finally here!

Today we have a brand new release from A Day For Daisies to show you!  All the images are for Valentine's Day!  I believe Tammy Thompson has just outdone herself!  These are all so different and darling and wonderful!  You'll need to check them all out at the ADFD blog or over in the A Day For Daisies shop!

Today I'm using the little Love Clown.  She's just precious!  I decided I wanted to watercolor her, but I was a little short on time so I just wet the page really well and dabbed the brush full of color onto it.  The bulk of the purple colors stayed within the heat embossed outlines.

When the purples were dry, I added watered down Tumbled Glass distress ink, then I colored her skin and hair and the hearts with Copic markers.

I had started out using this week's I Heart Card Sketches #049, but I got carried away and raised the circle element up in order to show off the glittery scalloped aqua blue layer.

This is pretty and dreamy, which is the perfect fairy combination in my little mind. Great take on the sketch. Like the elongated banners, so am thinking I may need to try and add one to something I make. Of course, I could get in a whole lot of trouble for thinking. Happy Weekend! It's a 3 day one for me! YIPPEE!!
