Hello, everyone! I know I don't have to tell you what day it is!! And that it's time for the latest Color Throwdown challenge!
Melody is our hostess this week and her inspiration photo and color combo are both just gorgeous!

Love, love, love it!
I decided I wanted to use my WPlus9 Woodland Wreaths and die set again this week. You can never get your Christmas cards made too early, now can you? Besides I had lots of other inspiration, as I'll show you in a minute.
~
I made the "door" with a piece of turquoise cardstock that was scored every 1/4". I used a small paintbrush and some watered down Gathered Twigs distress ink to paint in the grooves, then I brushed over the surface with a white pigment ink pad. The tiny ivory flower is clear embossed and you can see a tiny bit of Swiss Dots embossing on the olive layer. The sentiment is stamped in Gathered Twigs ink as well.
The tiny blue berries on the wreath are actually the punched out centers of the sequins. I empty my packets of sequins into old baby food jars, which I store upside down in a drawer, and every time I open a jar the tiny centers are usually stuck on the top and around the edge of the jar. So why not use them, huh?
Now, I not only got my inspiration from our Color Throwdown inspiration photo, but from these other challenges this week: Curtain Call - Welcome Home; CAS-UAL Friday CFC119: Embossing, and retrosketches #88.

Lots of fun challenges!
Since this is a new month, we're welcoming a brand new Guest Designer! Woo hoo! It's the fabulously talented Cindy Lawrence! Be sure to help her feel the love of all you Color Throwdown fans!

Let the parade of wreaths begin - lol! LOVE that weathered "door" as the BG; great idea to stamp on kraft which adds to the rustic feel! Not only did we use the same set...we both combined with the same challenges! How wild is that?! Great minds.
