Hello, everyone! It's Tuesday and that means it's time for a new Flourishes Timeless Tuesday challenge! Are you excited? I am!
~
Jenny is our hostess this week and her challenge to us all is:
~
Double Wrap - Use more than one kind of ribbon on your creation.
~
We all love ribbon, right? So this is really an easy and super fun challenge! I actually decided to use 3 ribbons on my card. When I pulled out my pastel seam bindings I couldn't decide which 2, so I just went with all 3!
~
I think all the pastels work so well with the fresh, summery Popsicles & Pinwheels stamp set! I just love the popsicle image! All my grandkids HAVE to have popsicles every time they come to my house in the summer, so this certainly brings to mind "happy" memories for me!
I stamped the popsicle in Memento Gray Flannel ink onto Flourishes Classic White cardstock and colored it with the Lenten Rose and the Walnut Copic collections. Then I coated it with Star Dust Stickles. I stitched a piece of embossed white cardstock to my Carta Bella So Noted patterned paper, then adhered it to a piece of cardstock from the Pistachio paper collection. I tied all 3 of my seam bindings - Pistachio Iced Lime, Poppy Baby Pink, and Sunflower Primrose - around these layers before attaching to my card front.
The Lacey Circle die cut was air brushed while still in the die using my Y11 Copic marker, then I added some shading dots using Y00 and Y11. Both this circle and the popsicle were adhered with foam mounting tape.
Now it's your turn! Let's see what you create with at least 2 ribbons!! Be sure to check out what the other FTTC ladies have designed for your inspiration:
