Happy Friday, everyone! Finally, the weekend's here again!
You know what that means. It's time for a new release from A Day For Daisies! This week we have some Kangaroo Fun!
I've chosen to color up this adorable little Kangaroo Mouse with Flowers! How sweet is she?

Our latest challenge starts today! We're supposed to use RUFFLES! What fun! I used some new ribbon tape to create a ruffled ribbon across the top of my card front. The Strawberry Slush layer is embossed with the Gridlock embossing folder, and I cut the Coastal Cabana layer with a Dahlia Spellbinders die. I used the flower that was cut out on the inside of my card. I am really loving these new Stampin' Up! colors!
The mouse and flowers were colored with Copic markers and then hand cut. The layout is the latest retrosketches #77:

Don't you want to play along and use RUFFLES? You can get all the details on the ADFD blog and you can see some wonderful inspiration from the other ADFD gals here:

Thanks so much for dropping in today, folks! I hope you enjoy your weekend. (I CAN NOT believe that it's almost September! Where did our summer go???)
Totally LOVE everything about this except maybe the mouse. It is a pretty mouse and you've colored it beautifully, but it is still a mouse and if I could love a mouse, it would be this mouse. What I can rave about are the colors, that cool ruffle, the way you used the dahlia die and how you do such a great job with the sketches. Happy Weekend!

I thought I commented on this?! I love this design! The negative die cut behind that adorable mouse looks fantastic! Of course, your coloring rocks too!
