Welcome back!!
We've got such a fun E-Team blog hop for you today! Have you seen the new HoneyPOPs from Inky Antics? Daisy has presented the E-team with a HoneyPOP challenge! And YOU will benefit from it because Jackie has generously offered a prize (a HoneyPOP stamp set and coordinating Honeycomb paper) to be given away on each of our blogs! The more you comment, the better your chances of winning! You can comment on Wednesday (Apr 20) and Thursday (Apr 21) and we'll announce our winners on Friday (Apr 22)!
Daisy will also be giving away a prize! Go to the eP blog and leave a comment telling her what you like about this HoneyPOP collection and you'll have a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to eclectic Paperie!!
Now, on to my card….
I was fortunate to receive the Cupcake Birdy HoneyPOP stamp set. It's adorable and I'm making a duplicate of today's card for my granddaughter's 2nd birthday which is next weekend! She's a big fan of cupcakes and anything pink, so she's going to adore it!
~
I decided to go with a slightly vintage and distressed look for my card front. I colored 2 birds and 3 cupcakes and layered them with foam mounting tape. All the edges of the layers as well as the Maya Road chipboard and tiny rose are sponged with Ranger Distress Frayed Burlap ink and an ink blending tool. I used Sherry's Ribbon Inking Technique for my seam binding.
~
And now for the POP! on the inside:
~
Surprise!! Now how cute an idea is that?! The honeycomb paper is really easy to work with and I was surprised at how quickly this cute little cupcake came together. Now that's what I like….a special surprise that will make the recipient smile and that was easy for me!! A double-play!
Jackie has created a super video to show you how to use the honeycomb paper. You can find it on the Inky Antics blog or in the Inky Antics section at eclectic Paperie.
Oh, and I also wanted to show you a little extra idea I'm working on using the honeycomb paper.
~
So now it's time for you to move on to the other blogs to be totally wowed by their creations!! Believe me. You WILL say WOW!!
~
~
Thanks for visiting with me today! Don't forget to leave comments on all the blogs for a chance to win a HoneyPOP collection or a $25 gift certificate to eclectic Paperie! And Jackie is also having a HoneyPOP challenge over on their Facebook page. It's running until April 30th! I know I'm going to enter my card there!!

Broni, I love how you used a vintage look with this product! I told Daisy I like the book worm but I'm really loving this cupcake -- and yes, I know one's a stamp and the other is a shape -- I can just see HUGE possibilities -- my book worm can deliver cupcakes for birthdays of book lovers! I hope I win!
