Well, here it is, time for another Color Throwdown! Danielle really threw me a curve ball this week with her color choices. I searched and searched my stash and finally found a patterned paper that actually worked with these colors.
I used Kazan’s Sketch 46 from the 2 Sketches 4 You blog. This one’s really versatile and I bet you’ll see a lot more of it from me!

I have to tell you that originally the pale green or sage was listed as river rock, so that’s what I went with.
My card is a birthday card for my sister and uses the brand new Big Birthday Wishes set from Our Craft Lounge. I also used one of the borders from Fancy Fringes (also a new set from Our Craft Lounge) – it’s the dotted border at the bottom of the card. I thought it worked really well with the polka dotted flower and the owls eyes!~
Here's a shot of the inside~

I hope you’ll join us in this week’s challenge. Check out all the details at the Color Throwdown blog and you’ll love the inspiration you’ll find at the design team members blogs:~

What a super fun birthday card, Broni! Love that owl patterned paper and your layout is awesome! You're so right that the polka dotted row at the bottom cooridnates perfectly with the owl's eyes and that gorgeous flower! The bow is a beautiful finishing touch as is the interior design :]
