Happy Tuesday, everyone!  I hope you had a fabulous Labor Day holiday and that you were able to enjoy a long weekend!

I'm very excited to be hosting my first Timeless Tuesday challenge!  Today my challenge is to create a mini card!  Just make a smaller version , no larger than 4" x 3", of what you would normally make.

For my card I used the Orchids stamp set, and my sentiment on the Maya Road Vintage Kraft Flag Pin is from the Passion Flower stamp set.  I embossed the front of my card base and rubbed over the raised portion with Ranger Frayed Burlap ink using an ink blending tool.  I also created a background and border from a few die cuts and added some Ivory Jute, tied into a bow. I colored my image with Copic markers, cut it out, and mounted it with some foam tape.

MERRY - Color Throwdown #163

Hello, everyone!  It's Wednesday again and time for a new Color Throwdown challenge.  But first let me tell you how exciting it is for us all to have so many fabulous and talented team members!  We've had so much fun chatting online, and I am SO loving all the beautiful art the newbies are adding to our challenges!

What a fantastic combo!  I immediately thought "Christmas", so I pulled out my new Ali Edwards stamp set "Believe" from Technique Tuesday.  This is so perfect for making quick and beautiful Christmas cards!

My card is 5.5" square.  I loved layering the images with the Merry sentiment.  So cool!  Love my little jingle bell too!
