Hello, everyone! I hope you're having a good week. I'm excited because I'm going to the So You Think You Can Dance live performance tonight! I can't wait to see Melanie, Sasha and Marko dance! And tomorrow I'm headed to the beach again for the weekend. Probably for the last time this year too. I'm sad about that, but definitely plan to enjoy this weekend!
It's time to see what our Color Throwdown challenge is for this week! Danielle is our hostess and she always chooses a beautiful color palette for us to play with!

I've seen a few people using light colored ink to stamp with lately. So when the image is colored in, it looks totally different from how it would look with the black outlines. That's what I tried with my card today.
I used the Papertrey Ink Year of Flowers: Carnation stamp set and Adirondack Lake Mist ink, then colored with my Copic markers (0, T0, R0000, R81, R83, R85).

I like how this turned out, and I think I'll probably use this technique quite a bit more!
I'm also going to enter this card in the BasicGrey challenge #53 to use pink and brown. Check it out!
Now you should really check out the beautiful creations of my sisters on the Color Throwdown design team:

I sure hope you'll decide to play along with us!
Thanks so much for dropping in to take a look today. I hope you'll come back soon!
