I just love how he looks with the Graphic 45 On The Boardwalk patterned paper!  And I just got the new Dylusions  Dotted Flowers stencil, so I had to use it!  I spritzed the spiral page with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist in Sea Glass using the stencil!  Sparkly!  It matches the flowers that were highlighted with my Atyou Spica pen in Turquoise!  (You can kind of see it in the cropped photo at the top of the post.)

It's a Bunny Garden!

Hey there!  Are you ready to see another fabulous new release of images from A Day For Daisies?  I'm always so excited to show you the new ones!

This week we've got a collection called "Bunny Love" and the image I'm using is "Bunny Garden!"

How sweet is that?!

I wanted to use the MOJO235 sketch again too.  It's definitely a different one and gave me the opportunity to use my new Bitty Blossoms die set from Spellbinders for the little rolled flower.

~

~

I pulled out some REALLY OLD retired Basic Grey paper (Perhaps) and some cardstock to coordinate.  The eyelet lace is very old too and from my Mom's old sewing stash.

~

~

Here's another card with the Kick Some Grass image, this time using the MOJO235 sketch.

I'll also enter this week's Basic Grey challenge 65 to make a card for Easter using Basic Grey paper.  I used Out of Print.

I'm still trying to complete all the Easter cards for the grandkids!  And it seems I'm running short on time!

Easter Chicks - Color Throwdown #180

Hi, guys!!  Today's the day for a new Color Throwdown challenge!  The fabulous Lori is our hostess this week.  The colors she chose threw me a little to begin with, but as soon as I saw my new Nature Babies 1 chicks from Angels Landing I knew what I was going to do!  (Thanks so much, Judi!)

Isn't that just the sweetest image?  The sentiment is from another Angel's Landing digital stamp set Nature Bunny & Violets 1.  (It's the set with the REAL Easter bunny!!)

Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I'd like to leave you with a couple of photos from this past weekend.  I was in Richmond, VA, with several of my CTD sisters for an Intermediate Copic Certification class, taught by the fabulous Debbie Olson!  It was a blast and we all learned so much! 

I LOVED meeting Wanda, Teresa, Danielle, Kristin and Michele in person for the very first time, even though I felt like I'd already known them forever!  And it was fabulous to get to spend some more time with Lori, Barbara and Debbie!  A couple of these shots were lifted from Wanda Cullen's blog and a couple are from Danielle Kennedy.  Thanks, ladies, for sharing!

We're celebrating!

Yes, we're celebrating Barbara's retirement!

Today's her last day at work and her BFF Tammy arranged this little blog hop to help her celebrate!  I'm so happy for her, and also VERY jealous!  I don't see that R word anywhere in MY near future!

So... I decided to make a "smooth sailing" card, since I figure life's gonna be somewhat easier for her from now on.  AND I wanted to make the sailor's knot (that I love), using Bar's Sailor Knot tutorial!

I also used the MOJO221 sketch.  Actually I used both the square and circle sketches by combining the two shapes onto my card.

So here's to you, Barbara!  I wish you only the best in your retirement and I KNOW you're going to enjoy all that extra crafting time you'll have now!!  (I hope you like the card too, 'cause it's on it's way to your house!)
