I have to say a huge thank you to all of you who took the time to participate in Color Throwdown #124 for Katie Renz. I loved every one of your entries and I hope Katie loved every one of your cards. Please continue to keep her in your thoughts and prayers.
Did you win one of the prizes? You can check it out at the CTD blog.
Now on to Color Throwdown #125! Barbara is our fabulous hostess this week and she's chosen a most perfect color combination:
~
Don't you love it? It's such a soft and sweet mix.
Of course I'm still making Valentine cards…almost finished! I pulled out my favorite Vintage Valentine from Our Craft Lounge again. I just can't seem to get enough of it!
I just played around with some old book pages, some patterned paper and quite a few cutting dies!
~
After I cut the pink paper using the Labels Four Nestabilities, I scored it at each set of "dips" along the edge making it into a large banner type panel. And I wanted the flower and bow (it's a big one, Kisa!) to stand out so I only stamped the little fellow and the sentiment in black, shading around the little boy with Copics W0 and W1.
I hope you'll play along with us using this great color combo this week. You can check out all the rules and details at the Color Throwdown blog. And be sure to visit all the DT members here for some beautiful inspiration:
