I really, really love the pair of old worn boots called Favorite Boots Ever. Doesn't that name just conjure up all kinds of memories of adventure? It does for me!
We're starting a new challenge this week too - Faux Stitching! I love to faux stitch. It's so much simpler than dragging out the old machine!
I printed my boots and my quote sentiment, which I downloaded from Elise Blaha's blog some time ago, onto my cardstock. I really think this quote suited the worn boots! Then I colored the boots with Copic markers (T1, T2, T3, T5, T7, BG13 and BG18). I masked the boots using another image that had been printed onto copy paper and cut out; then I airbrushed using some of the same Copics. Finally, I took my pen and a ruler and drew the "faux stitching" to resemble a path that the boots may have taken.
We hope you'll take a little time and play along with us in our new challenge! You can check out all the details at the ADFD blog and you can see all the new images at the ADFD shop. Please be sure to check out what the other designers have created too!
Thank you so much for coming by to visit today! Have a fabulous weekend!
