I wanted to try something different this week and I just got some new goodies from eclectic Paperie, so I pulled a couple of things out to play with! I couldn't wait to try out the Mini Peacock Feathers 6x6 template.

I sponged through the stencil with some Picked Raspberry and some Dried Marigold Distress inks. Then I stamped over it in black with just one word from one of the sentiments from the Studio 490 I Am My Art stamp set. I also just had to add a little embossed raised panel on the lighter pink section of the color blocking.

You know, when I saw that color combo, I thought, "Now how's that gonna work?" Then I saw your card...you are a genius. Using that peacock feather was the perfect tie in. I love it!

Fun! That peacock feather is wonderful! Well done on the colors and sketch, too. Looking at your card has me thinking I "need" that Picked Raspberry. Thanks for sharing.
