~
Good Tuesday morning to you all!
Today I'm hosting the Timeless Tuesday challenge over at the Flourishes blog
The challenge I chose is color related. We are to choose at least one color from each of these Color Made Easy collections to make our creation:
Poppy paper collection
Emerald Coast paper collection
and the Rich Browns paper collection
~
I used papers from the Poppy Paper Collection and the Emerald Coast Paper Collection. I cut 2 of the Floral Oval die cuts, one in white and one in the lightest Emerald Coast blue, which is trimmed around the edges and layered on top of the white one. This perfect Valentine sentiment from the Just My Type stamp set was clear embossed on Flourishes Classic White cardstock, and then sponged while still in the big scalloped oval die using Distress Frayed Burlap and Walnut Stain inks and an ink blending tool. It's wrapped in some beautiful Bangkok Red seam binding as a final touch.
I hope you'll be sure to check out what the amazing FTTC designers have created for you today:

Broni, this is beautiful. I love the inking on the sentiment. (Which is fantastic, by the way!) The color combo is really romantic. The ribbon treatment is fun, and I love the three pearls top and bottom.

I love the depth you created with your frame!
Too lazy to go back and comment on your Bonnet post :)...She reminds me of the Holly Hobbie line...remember that?!! Your coloring is so soft and like a watercolor...sigh
