Today I'd like to share with you a card that I made using the Out Together image from the Together release from A Day For Daisies. This image really tugged at my heart strings when I first saw it. I like to imagine that it's my Mom and Dad. You see, we lost my Dad 16 years ago, so they never had the chance to grow really old together.
~
I also used the Sketchbook Saturday Challenge #70:
~
And this week is the start of Challenge #50 at the ADFD blog - Use Fabric or Fibers. I hope you can see that I used linen for the lady's suit and the gentleman's slacks. It's from s.e.i and I've had it forever. It came in 6x6 sheets with backing, but I can't locate it on the s.e.i. website. It worked just perfectly for this card. And the vintage lace is from my Mom's stash. She was quite the seamstress!
~
We'd love for you to play along in the challenge with us! You can find all the details on the ADFD blog. And you have a chance of winning a gift certificate to the ADFD shop! How fun!
Thanks so much for stopping in to visit today. Have a great weekend!

Totally LOVE this.

Oh, Oh, Oh! LOVE this image! Have never tried a digital stamp, but this might just be the one. My Dad's been gone almost 12 years. I make anniversary cards for my Mom to send to her brothers and some close family friends. Thanks, Broni! Your art is so beautiful and I'm glad I popped back by, even though there are no more eP hops.
