Good Friday, y'all!  Are you doing the weekend happy dance like me?

Today, my A Day For Daisies card is all about going back to school.  I've got grandkids in the 7th, 5th, and 1st grades, so I'm pretty familiar with all the excitement, stress and preparation that's involved!

This week's release is called School Days and I chose to use the Home Lunch image.  LOVE that there's a note from Mom in the lunch box!

The latest ADFD blog challenge starts today too!  It's called "Break Out the School Supplies" and obviously I chose to incorporate a ruler (even if it is a mini!).

Love this! I remember my tin lunch box...it was red, black and yellow plaid. Lots of wonderful PB&J sandwiches made on Mom's homemade bread with homemade peach jam....Yum! Thanks for the memory!

Wonderful card and just love the colors you used. I don't normally read the other comments, but I had a lunch box just like Kathy and I carried peanut butter, too. If I had homemade bread it was likely from Grandma, but Mom occasionally made peach jam - usually it was strawberry. Thanks for the memories and the lovely inspiration. If I had a need for this image, I'd be acquiring another digi, Broni, so thanks for the influence (bad? ;), too!
