Really? Is it really Wednesday again already?? Ha, ha! That week went sooo fast for me!
I hope you all had a wonderful Mother's Day! I know I did. I spent the entire day with my 2 youngest grandchildren (and their Mom and Dad & dogs!) and we had a blast! Then their Dad cooked big juicy steaks and all the trimmings for us all. I love that guy!!
So I guess we should get down to business…..craft business, that is! How about a look at the challenge colors that Danielle has chosen for us this week.
~
Such pretty, happy colors!
I've had this sweet little Pure Innocence image since she first came out and have been dying to ink her up! But I didn't use my Copic markers this week. I decided to break out the reinkers and paint brush and do some watercoloring. I couldn't resist taking the sentiment literally and drew a line frame on her canvas so that she could color outside the lines. Both she and the canvas are watercolored.
~
So you're going to play along with us this week, right? I sure hope so. We've had some great entries lately and I can't wait to see more of your creativity!
Here are links to the CTD crew so you can grab some great inspiration:

Oh Broni I love the colors, your watercoloring is supreme, and the whole card was brought together in such a "happy" togetherness. Great card using the combo. Hugs.

Broni! Okay, where do I start? How about your beautiful coloring reminding me of why I love the watercoloring technique? Or, the clever way you had your PI gal paint outside the lines? Maybe your fun layout and the way you pulled the vibrant palette together. Such a fun card, girl! LOVE it :]

I absolutely adore this card!! My grandmother kept my 3 year old coloring book for years.
I still remember the day she sat next to me as I colored and scribbled (in purple) the face and arms of the child in the picture. What a hoot! She very patiently explained to me that "we" don't color skin purple, nor do we color "outside" the lines. She directed my little hand back "inside the lines". When I saw this card it brought that memory right back to me.
I have to add this as well: When I stared drawing at a young age I never drew a chin or a nose. Why? because I saw the perspective but didn't know how to achieve it nor did I understand how to communicate what I saw at the time. Interesting that your card brought all this out in me ;)
Again, it's just adorable and has a wonderful message. Thank you for sharing.
