I can not believe we're almost to Color Throwdown #100!! We are all SO EXCITED for our HUGE celebration and giveaway next week. I hope you are too!~~
Aren't they yummy? I thought so. And I thought they were a very vintage combination, so that's the direction I headed with my card. I also wanted to play along with the 2 Sketches 4 You challenge this week - Laura's Sketch 55 - since my friend Kimberly Crawford of Mint Motif is the sponsor.
So here's my card:~~
I used the rock-and-roll technique for the squares using antique linen and walnut stain Distress inks. A lot of the cardstock edges are distressed and I dyed the seam binding with tumbled glass Distress ink. We'd really love for you to play along with us. Shouldn't you practice for the big challenge next week??? Um, yeah, I thought so! Come on over to the original Throwdown!!
Here's some great inspiration for you from the fabulous design team:~~
